Facilities
Engineering Teaching and Research Laboratory Building (ETRL)
Twelve research laboatories, including the premier O.H. Reaugh Laboratory for Oil and Gas Processing, are located in the Engineering Teaching and Research Laboratory Building on the Pullman campus. Graduate students offices are provided near the research laboratories in this facility. Laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.
McCoy Hall
Several of the bioengineering research laboratories are located in McCoy Hall, which also houses researchers from the College of Veterinary Medicine. This arrangement enables Bioengineering faculty and graduate students to work in close collaboration with colleages from the College of Veterinary Medicine and the College of Pharmacy. Moreover, researchers working in these laboratories have access to the outstanding research equipment located in these colleges.
Bioproducts Sciences and Engineering Laboratory (BSEL)
Researchers from WSU & the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) work together in the Bioproducts, Sciences, and Engineering Laboratory (BSEL) on the WSU campus in Richland, WA. Through collaborations, these researchers work together to develop new solutions to some of the nation's largest energy problems, strengthen opportunities to move technology into industry and provide graduate students with a hands-on educational experience. BSEL is a new $24.8 million, 57,000 square-foot facility contains state-of-the-art teaching laboratories, advanced biological and chemical research laboratories for bioproducts and selected science and engineering research areas, engineering development laboratory to provide industry-relevant data, a high-bay facility for pilot scale research, and classrooms and offices.
